Beetroot brownie
On item that has been on our menu since Chef Glyn started here in the school is our beetroot and chocolate brownie.
The beetroot keeps the cake beautifully moist and gives a gorgeous, silky texture to the brownie.
This week we have also been using our own, home grown beetroot in the cake making it extra special.

Our gardens are looking green and full of life right now.
We have been harvesting courgettes, tomatoes and runner beans and we are looking forward to harvesting squash and radishes.
Our herbs are going strong and still providing us with loads of different flavours.
We grow all of our produce in the organic compost that we make throughout the year.
School Meals
The cost of school dinners are £2.50 per day, which is £12.50 per week . Payments for lunches can be made online through 'School Money' or can be handed in to your child’s class teacher on a Monday morning for the week or on the morning of the day your child wishes to stay for lunch. All monies must be in a sealed envelope with your child’s name/class and the days they are staying in for lunch. Any change will be returned to your child’s class the following morning.
